Saniza is a Lawyer by training with a multifaceted legal career in London and Hong Kong, Saniza is an inhouse counsel for a family office. After a stint as a barrister in London, she relocated to Hong Kong and worked in-house at investment banks where she provided legal work on derivatives and hedge funds. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as an accredited mediator and adjudicator. Her areas of practice include commercial disputes, derivatives, real estate, arts and culture and cross cultural disputes.

Growing up in a diplomatic family, Saniza values community building. She is passionate about diversity and giving back to society through arts and culture, ADR community and through her work at various chambers of commerce. Saniza is Chairlady of the HKU Master of Laws in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Alumni Association and past Chairlady of the Diversity Subcommittee at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia Branch). She regularly moderates HKU Insights from the Dispute Resolution Community Series and regularly judges in international arbitration and mediation competitions.

Saniza earned a LL.M (Distinction) in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from the University of Hong Kong and received her LL.B (Hons) from University of Wales. She holds the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma. She is a native speaker of English, fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and Malay, and conversant in French and Japanese.
